Funding Circle is great for alternate means of income. The typical Return on Investment can be as high as 7.8% which is similar to some Hedge Funds. The way they process defaults is a lot better than how a bank would. When a lender defaults, Funding Circle will ease back on the payments allowing the business to recover. Often the business is able to return most of the money lent. Funding Circle was started in 2010 by James Meekings, Samir Desai and Andrew Mullinger.
Funding Circle has been around since 2010 and is a lending marketplace that allows investors to lend money directly to small and medium-sized companies. Funding Circle was the 1st business to allow peer-to-peer lending for companies in the UK and now operates in the Germany, US, UK and the Netherlands. Funding Circle has enabled over £5 billion in loans to SMEs as at June 2018.
